What is Artistic-Systemic Therapy?
Artistic-Systemic Therapy integrates the power of arts therapies— such as music and visual arts— with the holistic insights of systemic therapy.
Systemic therapy addresses entire systems rather than isolated individuals. These systems could be families, friend groups, or workplace organizations. Instead of asking, “What’s wrong with you?” systemic therapy focuses on questions like: “What impacts you?”, and “What needs to change so you can move forward?”.
This approach unravels habitual patterns, helping individuals discover their own solutions to challenges. The artistic component deepens this exploration by accessing subconscious insights through creative expression. By engaging with art, participants uncover subconscious thoughts and emotions, creating meaning, expanding possibilities, and experiencing peace.
